We had planned to offer the next Womens Power Summit on October 4 in Atlanta. But sometimes things don’t go as planned.

First there was the hotel issue. Seems that the largest room available would not accommodate our smallest crowd. So we couldn’t have it at the hotel where we had sleeping rooms reserved and other activities arranged.

Then there were the area hotels. But none of them in that area of town had an opening for a meeting room on that day. (Hey, Atlanta ladies - check the calendars for October 4 - apparently there’s lots going on in Atlanta that day!)

Finally, that all combined with my learning that I’ll have surgery in August. And since the primary promotion for the event would have been during my recovery period - well, again, it just didn’t make sense.

So, we have cancelled the October 4 date for Womens Power Summit. We DO plan to offer it in April, 2008. So watch for the date announced here!

A special thank you to Audrey Hagan for her undying efforts in trying to secure a space and to Kay Mitchell for standing ready to record. If you don’t already know them, you’ll have a treat next April when we all meet in Atlanta!

I want to share the success of a powerful woman and one of my former students - Raven Blair-Davis. Raven decided 18 months ago that she *really* wanted to do teleseminars.

But she took it a step further - and set up a radio show. Then one show was not enough. Instead, she hosts several successful Internet Radio shows.

Her guest lists read like a who’s who of great speakers, authors, actors, and other notables in their fields. And she’s finally agreed to share her knowledge with others who want to start an Internet Radio show! 

The course starts Monday, June 23, so hurry. And be sure to tell her “Jeanette sent me!”

The third annual Womens Power Summit has been scheduled for October 4, 2007 in Atlanta. So mark your calendars.

That will also be the day before the tenth Big Seminar, so you’ll want to plan to join us for the full weekend in Atlanta!
